Ivey Business Review is written, designed and managed by undergraduate students at the Ivey Business School. All contributions come from current students and alumni of Ivey Business School and are curated by its student Editorial Board. The Advisory Board is comprised of past contributors and oversees the Editorial Board, which runs all day-to-day operations.

Leadership
The IBR leadership team is comprised of the Editor-in-Chief, Publisher, and Managing Editor. They are responsible for managing the publication team, acting as a liaison between the organization and the Ivey Program Office, and overseeing the publication as a whole. Adam Miller – Editor-in-Chief
Adam Miller is an HBA/Computer Science 2022 candidate. In 2019, he wrote an article about how InterContinental Hotels Group can better capture the business travel market; outside of school he is an avid baker and amateur hiker.

Carol Zhai – Publisher
Carol Zhai is an HBA 2022 candidate. She joined IBR in 2019, when she wrote an article about new revenue streams for Buzzfeed in product development. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, listening to podcasts and trying out new recipes.

Nick Tommasini – Managing Editor
Nick Tommasini is an HBA 2021 candidate. He joined IBR in 2017 as a Researcher, and most recently wrote for the Fall 2019 edition about WarnerMedia’s partnership opportunities for the launch of HBO Max. Outside of school, he enjoys hockey, reading, podcasts and playing video games.

Adil Khan
Adil Khan is an HBA 2021 candidate. He joined IBR in 2018 as a Researcher and most recently wrote for the Spring 2020 edition about Tyson Foods’ expansion into new product segments. In his free time, he enjoys basketball, comedy, and MMA.

Jesse Zender
Jesse is an HBA 2021 Candidate. He co-authored an article in 2019 proposing a strategy that LinkedIn can leverage to accelerate its growth and create a new revenue stream. Jesse’s interests include playing squash, travelling, and reading. Upon graduation, he will be working in consulting.

Caitlyn Liu
Caitlyn Liu is an HBA/Computer Science 2022 candidate. She wrote in Spring 2020 an article about Tyson Foods entering the alternative meat products space. Outside of school, she enjoys painting, running, reading, and going to concerts.

Katie Zanatta
Katie Zanatta is an HBA/Health Science 2021 candidate. In 2020, she co-authored an article about the changing insurance industry, and the future of its strategy and viability in the face of increasing climate risks and costs. In spare time, she enjoys trying new cuisines and participating in water sports.

Dante Mascarin
Dante is an HBA 2021 Candidate pursuing a dual degree with Philosophy. He co-authored an article in 2019 that a Canadian REIT should enter the Canadian purpose-built student accommodation market. Upon graduation, Dante plans to enter the finance industry.

Kayla Pandza
Kayla is an HBA 2021 Candidate who is pursuing a dual degree with Computer Science. She joined IBR in 2017 as a Researcher, and co-authored an article about PayPal in 2018. Upon graduation, she will be working in finance.

David Li
David Li is an HBA 2021 candidate. He wrote for the Spring 2020 edition about an expansion strategy for Molson Coors in the craft beer market. Outside of school, he enjoys basketball, reading, cooking, and video games.

Owen Thurston
Owen is an HBA 2021 Candidate pursuing a dual degree in Mechatronics Engineering. He joined IBR in Spring 2020 and co-authored an article on Vermilion Energy and the European Natural Gas Industry.

Darren Guo
Darren is an HBA/Economics 2022 Candidate. He co-authored an article in 2020 detailing a proposal for Impinj to provide RFID technology to authenticate luxury fashion products. Outside of school, he enjoys basketball, video games and reading.

Selina Li
Selina Li is an HBA/ Political Science 2022 candidate. In 2019, she wrote an article about how InterContinental Hotels Group could target business leisure travelers through a partnership with Yelp. Outside of school, she enjoys cooking and true crime podcasts.

Edward Wang
Edward is an HBA/Computer Science 2022 candidate. Most recently, he co-authored an article in Fall 2019 about WarnerMedia’s launch strategy for HBO Max in Latin America. In his free time, he can be found cooking new recipes, skiing, and playing video games.

Si Ran Wang
Si Ran is interested in finance and entrepreneurship. Her previous experiences include working at District Ventures and Credit Suisse. Si Ran enjoys painting, reading, and trying new foods!

Gloria Wu
Gloria is an HBA 2021 Candidate who co-authored an article about Indigo in 2019. Her interests include cooking, trying new restaurants and travelling to new places.

Yanyan Law
Yanyan is an HBA 2022 Candidate pursuing a dual degree in Psychology. She co-authored an article in 2020 on why Molson Coors should create an incubator for craft beers to diversify its revenue streams. Outside of school, Yanyan enjoys reading, cooking, travelling, and volunteering.

Jenny Li
Jenny Li is an HBA/Software Engineering 2022 candidate. She joined IBR in 2019 when she wrote an article about how Indigo can revive growth prospects through pursuing partnerships with local public libraries. Outside of school, she enjoys painting, reading, and watching movies.

Zain Huda
Zain Huda is an HBA/Computer Science 2022 candidate. He wrote for the Spring 2020 edition about a commercialization strategy for Boston Dynamics robot dog, Spot. Outside of school, he enjoys sports, video games, and baking.

Stanley Ho – Team Head
Stanley is an HBA 2021 candidate. He joined IBR’s creative team in 2019, and is passionate about design, sustainability, gaming, and exploring the food scenes of wherever he is.

Jessica Zhu
Jessica is a second year computer engineering student. She is interested in technology, product management, and innovation in the aerospace industry. Outside of school, she enjoys writing, playing puzzle games, and photography.

Annie Tan
Annie is a first-year student studying Criminology. On her days off, she can be seen painting, reading, or participating in community initiatives. Upon graduation, Annie hopes to pursue a career in either marketing or consulting.

Madhumita Nathani
Madhu is a second-year BMOS student. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, learning new productivity systems, and discovering admirable smaller businesses. Madhu wishes to pursue a career in finance or consulting, or start her own business.

Carlee Olsen
Carlee Olsen is a current HBA1 student. She is passionate about artificial intelligence and sustainable strategy. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in business and technology.

Sabrina Wen
Sabrina is a second-year student studying Media, Information & Technoculture, with a passion for design and entrepreneurship. She enjoys bullet journaling, playing badminton, and learning new skills while exploring her interests.

Frank Huang
Frank is currently a second-year student studying Management. In his spare time, he enjoys analyzing chess games, watching tech reviews, and pursuing design-related side projects. Upon graduation, Frank would like to pursue a career in digital consulting, with a focus on user & customer experience.

Sahil Asthana
Sahil Asthana is an HBA 2021 candidate. Outside of school, he enjoys film, fashion, and basketball. Sahil’s go-to quarantine activity has been rock climbing. Upon graduation, he plans to be employed.

Harrison Angellotti
Harrison Angellotti is pursuing a degree in Mechatronic Systems Engineering. He joined IBR in 2020 as a Designer, and most recently curated the Louis Vuitton and Simon Property Group graphics for the Fall 2020 edition. Outside of school, he enjoys hockey, 3D printing, and product design.

Jenny is a product designer, illustrator, and writer currently studying International Relations. When she is not designing, you can find her attending Hackathon, painting custom sneakers, writing op-eds, and listening to podcasts.

Liam Hildreth – Team Head
Liam is a second-year student studying global economics. He is interested in cognition, algorithms, and economic modeling. Liam’s dream job is to one day work at X – Google’s moonshot factory.

Jessica Yin
Jessica is a second-year economics student who is interested in investing and technology. In her free time, she enjoys exploring art and fashion, and listening to podcasts. She hopes to pursue a career in finance in the future.

Alexander Goleszny
Alexander is a second-year computer science student. In his free time, you can find him trying new food, discussing politics, or fencing. Upon graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in finance.

John Cameron
John is a second-year student in Software Engineering with an interest in data analytics and strategy. He hopes to pursue a career in data science or management consulting upon graduation, eventually moving towards working with startups in the tech space.

Anjana Somasundaram
Anjana is a second-year computer science student. She is passionate about social development and has a strong interest in learning about corporate strategy. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in the technology industry.

Karen Zhan
Karen is a first-year computer science student. Her passions include machine learning, strategy consulting, and fintech. In her free time, you can find her baking a batch of cookies.

Aryan Pasricha
Aryan is a first-year student studying kinesiology. He is interested in combining his passion for medicine and entrepreneurship and starting a non-profit one day. In his free time, he enjoys playing lacrosse, basketball, and guitar.

Kyra Gilson
Kyra is a first-year Engineering student interested in software, entrepreneurship, and applications of Artificial Intelligence. She enjoys skiing, biking, and traveling in her spare time. She hopes to pursue a career in management consulting.

Ben Lines
Ben is a second-year finance student. He has started two successful businesses in his hometown of Bermuda. Ben would like to pursue a career in the reinsurance sector, with a particular focus on climate risk transfer.

Logan Kieller
Logan is a second-year student in business, with a passion for strategy, startups, and social enterprises. He is interested in consulting and tech, and is aiming to explore internships in those fields before eventually starting his own business.

Carol Guo
Carol is a first-year political science and economics student. She is passionate about social justice issues, politics, and international affairs. Upon graduation, Carol hopes to pursue a career in either marketing or consulting.

Maclaren Forrest
Maclaren is a second-year economics student. She has an interest in impact investing, entrepreneurship, and the fintech space. She hopes to work in consulting and eventually enter the nonprofit sector, specifically within the area of microfinance.

Geoffrey Xie
Geoffrey is currently a first-year student studying computer science. Outside of school, he enjoys cooking and playing badminton. Upon graduation, Geoffrey hopes to pursue a career in the finance industry.
Digital Strategy Team

Stella Lu – Team Head
Stella is an HBA 2021 candidate who joined IBR’s inaugural digital strategy team in 2019. In her spare time, she enjoys checking items off her food and travel bucket lists, as well as reading about startups. Upon graduation, she will be pursuing a career within the tech industry.

David Guo
David is an HBA 2022 candidate. He is passionate about politics, and studied international relations during his first two years at Western. He is interested in retail and customer experience. Outside of school, he enjoys travelling.

Jieru Yang
Jieru is a second-year economics student. In her free time, she enjoys backcountry skiing, hiking and bullet journaling. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in finance.

Lauren Miller
Lauren Miller is a second-year business student specializing in accounting with passions for digital marketing and volunteering. She is interested in exploring marketing during a digital world and the field of consulting. She is eager to gain real-life business experience through internships and develop professionally.

Niloufer Khan
Niloufer Khan is a second-year economics student. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, painting and cooking. In the future, she hopes to further explore consulting while pursuing her interest in law.
