Ivey Business Review is written, designed and managed by undergraduate students at the Ivey Business School. All contributions come from current students and alumni of Ivey Business School and are curated by its student Editorial Board. The Advisory Board is comprised of past contributors and oversees the Editorial Board, which runs all day-to-day operations. Adam Fremeth serves as Program Advisor.
The IBR leadership team is comprised of the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher. They are responsible for managing the publication team, acting as a liaison between the organization and the Ivey Program Office, and overseeing the publication as a whole. They can be contacted at email@example.com.
Leroi first joined IBR as a researcher in 2013. He later co-authored an article on Pebble’s enterprise strategy in 2015 and an article on Medium’s monetization strategy in 2017. He will be working in private equity upon graduation.
Eva first joined IBR as a researcher in 2014, and later co-authored an article on Costco’s demographic challenge. Eva has a background in psychology and strategy consulting, and has an interest in succulents, dogs, and fantasy novels.
Jeet is an HBA 2018 candidate pursuing a dual degree in Computer Science, and first joined IBR in 2014 as a researcher and wrote about TMX’s listings strategy in 2016. Upon graduation, he will be joining the technology industry.
Charlotte is an HBA 2018 candidate, and first joined IBR as an editor in 2017. Prior to Ivey, she studied Political Science. Her interests include foreign policy, sports and theater. Upon graduation, she will be pursuing consulting.
Sankalp is an HBA 2018 candidate and is pursuing a dual degree with Software Engineering. He first joined IBR in 2017 and wrote about AMD and autonomous vehicles. Upon graduation, he plans to work as a full-stack developer.
Martin joined IBR in 2017, and wrote about AMD and autonomous vehicle technology. As an HBA 2018 candidate pursuing a dual-degree in computer science, he is passionate about data-science and machine learning.
Ajith is an HBA 2018 candidate and co-authored an article on an implementation of Blockchain for Spotify in 2016. His interests include technology and hip-hop music. Upon graduation, Ajith will be joining the financial services industry.
Richard joined IBR in 2016, authoring an article on Costco’s demographic challenge. He studied Political Science before Ivey and is interested in international relations, and the impact of technological innovation on traditional markets.
Jenny is an Ivey HBA 2018 Candidate. Jenny co-authored an article proposing that Amazon invest in Tesla’s self-driving electric trucks. Upon graduation, Jenny will be joining the consumer packaged goods industry.
Sanveer is an HBA 2018 Candidate pursuing a dual degree with Medical Biophysics. He wrote about GE’s opportunity to improve patient health outcomes by integrating machine learning in 2016. He plans to work in consulting.
Sooruj is an HBA 2019 Candidate pursuing a dual degree in Software Engineering. He joined IBR in 2017, co-authoring an article on Nintendo’s software licensing strategy. Sooruj’s interests include traveling and table tennis.
Alif previously co-authored an article about Nintendo’s strategic position in the video game industry in 2017. Alif has a background in political science and an interest in the financial services industry.
Mark is an HBA 2019 Candidate pursuing a dual degree with Astrophysics. He co-authored a 2017 article on the future of Aimia’s Aeroplan program. Upon graduation, Mark plans to pursue a career in finance.
Gordon is an HBA 2018 candidate. He first joined IBR as a researcher in 2015 and co-authored an article on Cineplex in 2016. His passions include tech and filmmaking. Gordon will be joining Bain & Company and plans to start a company later.
Sharon is an Ivey HBA 2019 Candidate pursuing a dual degree with Mechatronics Engineering. She co-authored a proposal in 2017 that Amazon invest in Tesla’s self-driving electric trucks. Her interests include music and technology.
Morgan joined IBR as an illustrator in 2016. Morgan is passionate about the intersection of design and strategy. Upon graduation, she intends to work in a creative services firm and hopes to bring beautiful experiences to the world.
Rosie is an HBA 2019 candidate. She grew up with a passion for visual arts, music, and dance. She hopes to bring her interest in design to a career in global strategy or consulting and is always open to tea recommendations.
Matthew is in his third year of Honors Political Science and first joined IBR as an illustrator for the Spring 2017 Issue. Matthew has a background in public policy, communications and politics. Upon graduation, he intends to enter law school.
Ashley is an HBA 2019 candidate with a passion for innovation and creativity. She hopes to pursue a career in sustainability and social impact upon graduation.
Amaara is an HBA 2019 candidate. She loves everything an anything art, design, or technology related. Upon graduation, she intends to pursue a career in the creative or tech industries, bridging her love for the arts and business.
Selina is part of the Creative Team for IBR and is currently studying Political Science as an AEO candidate. She is interested in international relations and business. Upon graduation, Selina hopes to enter law school.
Alvin is a Political Science student interested in cultural entrepreneurship, infrastructure, and emerging technologies. He looks forward to opportunities working in the real estate development sector.
Joey is a first-year student. She is interested in neuroscience and artificial intelligence, as well as how architecture and design can shape future life. Joey hopes to pursue a career in consulting integrated with visual design.

Andy is a second-year Economics student and leads the IBR Research and Development Team. Andy enjoys topics in economic globalization and international business. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue a career in consulting.
Justin is a second-year BMOS student part of the IBR Research and Development Team . Justin finds interest in economic empowerment and the real estate industry. Upon graduation, Justin wishes to work in the financial industry.
Yuxuan (Max) is a first-year Medical Science student and is a Researcher on the IBR Research and Development team. He is interested in healthcare consulting and biotech, and hopes to work in healthcare management and policy.
Justin is a second-year Computer Science student. He enjoys topics in the technology and marketing strategies within growing companies. Upon graduation, Justin hopes to pursue marketing and eventually start his own project/company.
Shahryar is a first-year Computer Science student. He is interested in the fintech space and how mathematics and computers can improve investment practices. Upon graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in the finance industry.
Zoe is in her second year studying BMOS. She enjoys reading about topics involving the newest technologies as well as international business events. Upon graduation, Zoe hopes to pursue a career in management consulting.
Rahul is a first-year Economics, Politics, and Philosophy student. Rahul has an avid interest in cars and loves to play basketball. Rahul is interested in pursuring a career in the finance industry and ultimately having a Fin-Tech startup.
